Staying Healthy One Tooth at a Time

You only get one set of teeth. They will not grow back if damaged beyond repair, and you will not have a healthy smile if they aren’t cared for on a daily basis.

Let’s face it, most food and drink we so enjoy are very detrimental to the health of your teeth. From sugary treats to fatty meats, over processed foods high in unnatural chemicals are bodies can’t handle, our teeth are at the forefront of the health war. We brush after every meal and floss at least before bedtime. We use mouthwashes to kill more of the deadly bacteria that lurks in our mouths. We use tooth whiteners to undo stains caused by our daily lives. While we put forth our best effort, this is not a battle we can win alone.

We need to go to a dentist on a regular basis too. Regular tooth cleanings are far more important than we give them credit for. While brushing and flossing can take care of surface areas, plaque and other decaying materials are not so easy to get rid of.

No one likes going to the dentist. Tooth cleaning’s can be painful and overall irritating, but we cannot maintain our teeth properly without them. Only required at an average of twice a year, this process can stop cavities from forming, be an early detection of more severe dental issues as well. The average dental tooth cleaning last for about 30 minutes. This is a very basic and crucial general dentistry procedure that can save your teeth and improve your overall health.

For a few hours of your time over the course of a year, we should have no excuse for not going.
