Dentures
A Better Way to Chew
Most equivocate dentures with the riggers of old age. While not untrue, more than just the elderly may require these dental devices at some point in their lifetime. As we age, the protective layer of enamel begins to breakdown, leaving the teeth exposed and more vulnerable. The teeth begin to decay over time, which can be corrected with filling of cavities or the more extreme root canal and crown fix. If the damage is allowed for too long it will require the tooth to be removed or face very serious health effects, even resulting in death. You need your teeth to chew. We can get on missing a few teeth, but losing the molar teeth can cause extreme difficulty in our ability to chew, while missing front teeth will render us unable to bite into food.
Teeth do not grow back. Once gone always gone. We might not always loose them to age either, accidents happen and unfortunately a tooth can be badly cracked or knocked out all together. You also have a wide variety of bacterias that can lead to different dental diseases and cause teeth to being irrevocably damaged, also requiring removal. Replacing lost teeth can be a very expensive endeavor, so it is good to know all of your options. While many might want the much pricier dental implants, many more will opt for dentures repair.
Missing teeth doesn’t just effect the way we eat it also effects the way we look, and our esteem. The inability to feel confident about your smile is a high price to pay to save some money. You might not think you can afford dentures, but the question is, can you afford not too?
